Founder, Civilink – Engineering Society of Iraq
Ibrahim Muthanna Saber is a multidisciplinary professional with extensive experience across business development, engineering, media production, and community initiatives. As the founder of Civilink, Ibrahim is dedicated to strengthening the Iraqi engineering community by providing resources, training, and mentorship to both students and practicing engineers. Under his leadership, Civilink has successfully hosted numerous workshops, including their 4th free workshop led by Mr. Azzam Al-Nuaimi, aimed at improving professional skills for engineers across Iraq.
Beyond Civilink, Ibrahim has held pivotal roles in several ventures, such as his position as Head of Operations for Startup Grind Baghdad, Regional Manager for Expokent in Baghdad, and project manager with the Qatari business development company Voice of Initiatives. He is also a co-founder of E'dad, a scriptwriting company designed to produce content for TV, channels, and social media programs. Ibrahim’s involvement in diverse startup projects reflects his passion for empowering Iraqi talents and bridging opportunities across borders.
With Civilink's mission rooted in supporting the Iraqi engineering community, Ibrahim has spearheaded partnerships, like the recent collaboration with Hall Design Studio to uplift the designer community. His dedication to social responsibility is evident in Civilink's commitment to enhancing Iraq's self-sufficiency in engineering expertise, reducing reliance on foreign talent by fostering homegrown competencies. Ibrahim envisions an empowered, innovative, and sustainable engineering community in Iraq that will thrive independently for generations to come.
